The Agricultural Management field of the Master of Agriculture degree is based on the primary discipline of Forestry and Agriculture Economic Management. It began enrolling students in 2008 under the Agricultural Extension Master's Rural and Regional Development field. In 2018, in accordance with the unified requirements of the Ministry of Education, it was adjusted to the Agricultural Management field of the Master of Agriculture for enrollment.

The Agricultural Management field is designed to meet the needs of the socialist modernization of our country, focusing on aspects such as agricultural economic management and policy, industry and management, business management related to agriculture, food economics and management, agricultural resource economics and environmental management, agricultural science and education management, and agricultural culture management. It aims to cultivate talents with a broad and solid foundation in economic and management theories, harmonious development of quality, knowledge, and ability, and corresponding innovation, business management, and technology promotion capabilities in the field of agricultural management. Graduates are expected to engage in work such as agricultural organization management, production and operation management, technology management, supply chain and food economic management, resource and environmental management, as well as agricultural development planning, education, and training.
